Waitlisting at the Library

13 Apr

Fluffies,

I love the Library.  Free books to read, comfy chairs, open for hours upon hours = golden.  Another function that I totally love is the “hold” option on books. It’s basically a waitlist, but it guarantees that you can read the book at some point.  Anyways just wanted to show some appreciation for it, and share with ya’ll some of the books I’m on hold for.  waitlistingpng

I utilize my library’s hold function a lot. Not only for books that aren’t out yet or books that have a huge wait list, but also just so if I think of a book I suddenly want to read, I can put a hold on it so it won’t get checked out before I can get over there. Of course I also love to just wander the stacks, but I would say at least half of the books I check out are ones I’ve put on reserve.

Yes! I would have to agree, when I see my book on the reserve shelf, I cannot help but think, “My Precious, mine and no one else’s.”
