Book 53: The Iron Daughter

29 Jun

irondaughterThe Iron Daughter (The Iron Fey #2) by Julie Kagawa

We start off in the Unseelie court and Meghan is miserable because Ash has seemingly abandoned her. She was very very annoying in the beginning, but I guess that’s heartbreak for you. And gosh, no wonder guys think girls are so flighty, kissing Ash one day then making out with Puck the next. But sad to say this story does not end well for the nice best friend type guy, and Meghan chooses the Ice Prince. But you know he did kind of give up his whole world for you, so it was not really a choice. On the plotier side of things. We found out where Meghan’s “dad” had been for the last 10 years. And maybe the best part of the whole book, Meghan is the yet unknown queen of the Iron Fey. I’m pretty sure she broke through her magic seal, so not only does she have her summer powers but she can also control the iron glamour. So exciting. Awww IRONHORSE! No!
