Book 56: The Iron Queen

I loved loved loved it! There was not any unnecessary drama, and just the right amount of action. Meghan has her sweet brooding prince, (did he get even more cute and likable in this book, or was that just me?) Ash, and you know they’re not hiding it, and it’s all so adorable. Puck is able to shove his love triangle-y feelings aside, so they can be besties. Meghan definitely grew into herself, the “year” that she has been in Faeryland. She gets Ash to teach her how to fight, talks shop with the royals with her emerging the victor, and finally kicks some serious ass with her use of magic. My favorite scene would have to be when Meghan is laying at the base of the tree, and with her dying strength uses her Summer/Iron glamour tag team to heal the Iron Kingdom. It is just a very beautiful scene in my head.
