Book 47: The Fault In Our Stars

The Fault In Our Stars by John Green.

 

OMG I loved loved loved this book. I was hesitant to read this book, because although I love watching the vlogbrothers, I did not take to some of his other books that I read. Also I know that there were characters with cancer, and I knew there was going to be some death, and I love happy endings. And I cry very easily. But with the recommendation from my a bestfriend how could I not read it. First off the writing was so good, like if I were to draw funny/memorable/silly/gut-wrenching quotes, there would be too many for this little post. Second Augustus, gah you so uhh, can’t even describe it. Your interactions with Hazel were so lovely. True love if ever I’d read it. When the eulogies were read, I was waiting in my car and bawling my eyes outside of a hospital(which somehow was very fitting). The tears would not stop. To be honest I am getting a little teary-eyed just writing about how I was tearing up at the moment. That is hands down my favorite moment and it’s the impression of the book that I would want to leave on me. Okay. Okay.

Waitlisting at the Library

Fluffies,

I love the Library.  Free books to read, comfy chairs, open for hours upon hours = golden.  Another function that I totally love is the “hold” option on books. It’s basically a waitlist, but it guarantees that you can read the book at some point.  Anyways just wanted to show some appreciation for it, and share with ya’ll some of the books I’m on hold for.
